Neptun at Vitrum 2017: Hall 7 - Booth F11-G20

Neptun is ready for Vitrum, ready to meet again the operators of the glass industry and involve them in its technical-productive roadmap towards more effective and performing glass processing processes. This year, the main novelty is the handling and processing of glass plates with large dimensions and heavy weights.

The vertical NC line for drilling and milling, Quickline, on a large request, now also addresses architectural glass manufacturers for large outdoor and indoor structures with a working area of 2800x4500mm and up and thickness up to 30mm. The new Quickline is also designed to be integrated with robotic loading and unloading work islands, further expanding the possibilities of automation and integration, which have always been the subject of great attention by Neptun, and that fit perfectly into the current concept of Industry 4.0.

At Vitrum, Neptun also introduces the new Vertical Washing Machine Wave, which is complements the high-end version Superinox, but can also be offered as an entry-level version with minimal automation and cost savings while maintaining the same level of performance.

In its most advanced version, Wave HP meets all the technical requirements for integration into Industry 4.0, the new sophisticated control system offers multiple management options for various production parameters such as variable speed setting for the various process steps , Monitoring and optimizing energy consumption, water quality management and filter status, recording of all production parameters, both stand alone and in-line, scheduled maintenance and on-line assistance, with the ability to export data from Relevant control. This version can be set up with the Heavy Duty configuration for machining heavy plates up to 300 kg / linear meter and 80mm thick.

Finally, during the exhibition Vitrum 2017, Neptun will present its new division dedicated to companies which require innovative solutions with a high technological content. Neptun is now able to supply robotic systems which go beyond the simple manipulation of the glass: the series Bravo is conceived for the exectuion of real processing jobs, starting from Bravo-Seam, an automated isle for loading-unloading and seaming!
